S-BOMB warning. That’s SPOILER-ALERT, for those less crude than I.
Ah yes, The Squickerwonkers again. And this time, it’s specifically Act 1: The Demise of Selma the Spoiled. But wait, didn’t she just get introduced in the previous book? She just joined the Squickerwonkers! And now we have her demise?
Yes, indeed. These are quick little forays into a wonderfully dark world, and Selma burned so hard and fast in her selfish, needy ways that she literally eaten by her pet that she threw a right fit to get in the first place. She had been warned what taking on the beast would bring, but she didn’t listen, and here we are, at her demise. Only, it’s a rather curious demise, if I must admit. Did she overcome her Spoiled title in her demise? She certainly overcame her puppet-ness.
The next book is for Lorna, and I’m definitely excited for it. They all appear to be “Demise” books, so I’m hoping for more light shed on this curious death that the Squickerwonkers as a whole seem to be doomed towards.
